He obtained 2 Bachelor of science degrees including one from the University of Dayton and one from National University of Health Sciences before obtaining his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the National University of Health Sciences in 2008. Dr. Daubenspeck has since achieved his Certification in the Impulse Adjusting Technique and now Specializes in the use of a revolutionary instrument called the Impulse IQ Adjusting Instrument®. He has been in a practice in the Dayton area for the past 15 years. In that time he has successfully treated thousands of patients of all ages. Dr. Daubenspeck is honored to be a member of the American Society for Nutrition, The American Chiropractic Association and the Ohio State Chiropractic Association.
What is the Impulse IQ Adjusting Instrument®?
Just as lasers have replaced scalpels in some surgeries, advanced technology has become available to chiropractors to assist in delivering chiropractic adjustments. Dr. Daubenspeck and thousands of other doctors around the world now use the Impulse Adjusting Instrument® in the care of their patients. This patented and FDA registered device was specifically created to deliver gentle and precise chiropractic adjustments to the joints and muscles of the spine and extremities to relieve pain and restore function. The Impulse Adjusting Instrument® is controlled by micro-computer circuitry housed within the device that produces a controlled force that chiropractors can use to treat different areas of the body. Impulse adjusting is a new technique developed to provide controlled treatments to the specific areas you’re having trouble with.
Dr. Daubenspeck uses the Impulse IQ Adjusting Instrument® to provide this treatment rather than the traditional manual methods of the past.
Impulse adjustments are high-tech, so there is no popping or cracking with these adjustments, but rather very precise and targeted adjustments designed to specifically care for just the right areas.
Years of research have gone into the development of the Impulse Instruments to create gentle chiropractic adjustments that are safe and effective for patients of all ages.
What conditions are treated?
Many muscle and joint injuries can be successfully treated using the impulse IQ technique and appropriate rehabilitation exercises. These injuries include head ache, TMJ pain, neck pain, upper back injuries, shoulder joint injuries, golfers elbow and tennis elbow, wrist injuries and carpal tunnel syndrome, lower back injuries such as sprains and disc problems, buttock and hip injuries, knee injuries, ankle sprains and foot pain such as plantar fasciitis and Morton's neuroma.
How Long will I take to get well?
Many injuries do take time to heal properly. The amount of time can range between days for minor injuries to weeks for major injuries. The important thing is to make sure these injuries are treated so they can heal properly. If injuries are not treated properly, they can lead to problems in the future.
What Will My Treatment Cost?
Dr. Daubenspeck has been a provider for most major insurances for over a decade. Insurances accepted include Anthem BC/BS, United Health Care, Premier Health, Medical Mutual, Humana, Custom Design Benefits, Medicare, and Molina Market Place (Currently not in Caresource, UHC Community Care or other Medicaid programs). If you are a cash patient, we can organize a payment plan for you. Treatment is very affordable.
